I agree with your thoughts. I do have a hard time thinking we could protect South Korea against all those medium range missiles though.

Then again, I’m not sure how great a shape all those missiles are in. Are we talking the Arabs on the West Bank level of missile competency, or something more conventional?

Hey, I just want to clarify as a Jew living in the “west bank”—they don't have (or have never used) rockets/missiles here. You are referring to our southeastern friends in Gaza who have their own autonomous enclave!

From what I’ve read over the years it’s the artillery tubes that have been the big concern. Thousands of them within range of Seoul, popping in and out of tunnels.

Any attack on the North is going to have to eliminate them quickly, as well as his missiles. I can’t see Trump leaving this for the next guy to solve. The Norks with nuclear blackmail just isn’t anything we can live with. The Soviets were at least rationale.
