Fire him immediately. It is less of a downside than letting Mueller and his buddy, Comey, do a hit job on President Trump. DAG Rosenstein appears naive and ill equipped for the job. Sessions stupidly removed himself from the front lines where he belonged. If I were Trump, I would consider getting rid of not only Mueller but Rosenstein and Sessions. These guys do not appear to have a clue that there is a coup going and impeachment is the objective. Now we have the President having to go outside the DOJ and rely on his personal lawyers for legal advice. It is obvious he has no confidence the DOJ.

My opinion? I think President Trump is going to let the vast majority of the Deep State creeps, ‘out’ and hang themselves in the Court of Public Opinion. Their hate for President Trump and their love for the Status Quo in DC is going to be their Waterloo, so to speak.

I still believe he’s playing 3-D Chess while the others are playing Tiddly Winks.

Best. Election. Ever. EVER. :)

(R)? *THINK*? BWAhahahaha. Next, you’ll tell me they’re growing a backbone a/o taking some testosterone.

Why not sit ‘em down on the couch w/ Skelator, ‘ol Newt’ster?

I understand why, but WHY won’t Sowell/etc. run for office. Least they’re consistent vs. Constitution than these self-promoters whom talk a good game (when they want).

I don’t think that Trump can fire Mueller. Only his Deputy Attorney General can do that since Sessions recused himself.

Recusal is an act generally initated by the person recusing. Rosenstein can remove Mueller. The regulations say it must be "for cause" and the reason must be communicated in writing, to Congress.

Mueller should be hounded by the press.

Don’t fire, have Sessions hire a special council to investigate Muller and Comey collusion with the Clinton campaign and former administration holdover to undermine the Trump administration.

President Trump just don’t get it yet. He should fire Mueller now. The entire communists Democrats are out to destroy America and he just doesn’t get it. As far as the rank Republicans in the House and Senate they are the most useless bunch of cowards America has ever seen. No support to Trump.

I certainly hope this is a foolish unsubstantiated rumor, because if Mr. Trump was to fine the SC, he would be gone in 60 days.

Sorry you do not like to hear this, but it’s reality.

Don’t miss the fact that the entire establishment, plus the entire deep state, has thrown everything they have at him and he still comes out on top.

Either Rosenstein appointed Mueller with no consultation from Trump, or he appointed him with Trump’s approval. If it was with Trump’s approval, then maybe having Mueller appointed served some purpose for Trump. Whatever purpose it may have served, it would appear it has now been achieved.

Notice how, before Comey’s testimony, Trump’s surrogates had little bad to say about Mueller, but since his testimony, they have begun, almost in unison, to publicly raise the issue of Mueller’s character and conflicts of interest, and call for him to step down. Makes me think it was Trump’s plan all along. Appoint Mueller to achieve some strategic end. Then, once achieved, raise the conflict of interest and character issues, and have him removed. What that strategic end might have been, one can only speculate.

It has already been established that Trump has never been under no estimation, so go ahead and pull the trigger of the special counsel, which was created on a lie by Comey.

Dear President Trump, I WROTE THIS FOR YOU IN CASE YOU NEED HELP ON THIS MATTER:

"Robert Mueller made the fatal mistake of stacking his counsel with prosecutors who are also Democrat donors. Because of this overtly politically-biased recruiting practice by Mueller which renders a fair and impartial investigation impossible, I have no choice but to exercise my Constitutional authority and terminate Mueller along with the Special Counsel."

MAGA!

Rosenstein wrote the definitive memo outlining the various reasons for firing Comey; he also strongly recommended Comey’s termination.

Some speculation out there that this rumor is actually meant to build Mueller’s cred further because the white house expects that he is going to exonerate Trump.

President Trump just don’t get it yet.

If I had a dollar for every time I read that nonsense here on FreeRepublic they wouldn't need another quarterly fundraiser until 2075.

Well he's mostly exceeded my estimation, so I agree.
