An idea I had was anyone can read, but one would have to be a supporting member to post or reply. Another was banner ads for non members. JR wanted no part of it.
I understand. I know that rules and regulations get terribly complicated and that Jim needs to keep it all simple, which is the reason Free Republic is sustained by freely given donations that are not tax-deductible.
