Then there are liberals, With liberals, the issue is never the issue. Now, not all those opposed to the death penalty are liberals. But there are death penalty opponents who oppose it being used as a deterrent to crime, as it once was, before the SDS “liberals” seeking to break down the system, to overload it- so abused the legal system with activist judges and misinterpretations of language that the death sentence seldom is carried out, with the condemned remaining quite alive through appeal after appeal until old age gets them- years before the electric chair , needle, or firing squad could.
This isn’t about people concerned about pain and suffering, it’s about people who oppose the death penalty, whether the perp suffers or not, because they are Alinskites sabotaging the justice system. There is no manner of execution that will satisfy them- except perhaps abortion.
The drugs given first of all, sedate almost to the point of death. Then the drugs used to stop the heart are administered. I doubt there’s any physical suffering. Sometimes when evil people die, they struggle because they can see where they’re headed, just like sometimes when Christians die, they get peaceful or see where they’re going. It is not cruel or unusual punishment to put a person to death for their crimes, by lethal injection, even if it takes a few minutes til they die. The important thing is, that those put to death, at least in our country, have years to repent of their crimes, and turn to the Lord, which is much more merciful than most murder victims. But it’s not about revenge; it’s about punishing murderers and trying to deter future murderers.

There is a culture of corruption that seeks to end the death penalty by refusal of duty.
You can “kill” anyone who asks for it but not who in their right mind murdered multiple people. These liberal companies need to go screw.

Reading through this thread I was just going to say that all defense lawyers should be made to do a “ride along” with the response team to murder sites (different investigations than the cases they serve on).
Just to be able to put the executions they observe in perspective.
You want a license to operate in this state, make it mandatory.
We are told that abortion must remain legal in all instances because every child should be a wanted child.

There are doctors administering the chemicals without consent and that threat of litigation isn’t causing the companies to question those sales.
We should call executions late term abortions and the liberals would not objection to any method employed.
