When it comes to issues such as sanctuary cities, it is impossible to avoid controversy. When President Donald Trump appoints anyone to help oversee the issue, it will be controversial, especially if the appointment promises to be very effective one.
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke is scheduled to serve as an assistant secretary at the Department of Homeland Security. He will be working at the Office of Partnership and Engagement, which coordinates outreach to state and local governments.
Clarke’s understanding of domestic law enforcement issues makes him the perfect candidate. He joins President Trump in opposing sanctuary cities and in supporting the creation of a wall on the U.S-Mexican border.
Not surprisingly, the long knives are out for Sheriff Clarke.
Even in the Trump administration, some are not happy with the choice. National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn and Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategy Dina Powell are reportedly fighting hard to delay and reverse Clarke’s appointment before it becomes official.
Their argument?
A CNN report that Sheriff Clarke supposedly plagiarized portions of his master's thesis on homeland security.
CNN focused on 23 short segments of his nearly 40,000-word thesis. Eighteen are mere sentence fragments; five are full sentences. CNN cites the supposedly standard definition of plagiarism: “If a passage is quoted verbatim, it must be set off with quotation marks . . . The length of the phrase does not matter. . . . even if only a few words are involved.”
But what Sheriff Clarke did was not dishonest. He footnoted each of these segments, citing the correct sources right on the same page. . . .

As far as I am concerned, the MEDIA can shove it. Joe BIDEN blatantly plagiarized Neil Kinnock and Biden’s boss the worst occupant of the Oval Office EVAH plagiarized Deval Patrick and the MEDIA routinely licked their BOOTS.

So anyone who tells me Clarke cannot be at DHS had better have a record of opposing BO and Plugs too.
Two names that frequently come up as those working against the MAGA agenda.
Sheriff Clarke scares the hell out of the deep state traitors across the country. Clarke will go after them for violating federal law. I also believe that Clarke will carve out his own team of enforcers from trusted individuals in the Department of Homeland Security. This is about to get interesting for patriots and devastating for left wing seditionists.
Even if only a few words. Incorrect. Take the example “operant conditioning”. Some words and phrases are traceable to a source but have passed into the language of normal discussion on that subject or even in the language at large.
What are Powell (big pal of Valerie J, Huma A, and Chelsea C), Cohn (Manhattan Democrat), McMaster (as anti-Trump and Islam-denying as they come) and even Priebus (Ryan’s GOPe mole keeping Trump supporters out and slow-walking GOPe/Democrat staffers in) still doing in this administration?!? And Jivanka, who backed all this foul staffing?!?
Trump needs to man up and correct his horrendous early hiring.
I keep wondering just how these people haven’t been fired by now. Why would Trump continue to keep those hostile to his agenda in place? There are others, too.
Why are these two obstructionists still in their respective positions????

I’m pretty dumbfounded; they can find the thesis for an assistant secretary for Homeland Security and tear it apart, but have zero issue with a presidential candidate (twice) having his thesis be sealed as part of his school records.
