Figen Yüksekdağ whose membership in HDP and the Turkish parliament was revoked has been sentenced to 1 year in prison.
Hearing of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Van MP and former co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ resumed today at Adana 11th Criminal Court of First Instance. Yüksekdağ, jailed in Kandıra Type F Closed Prison, refused to attend the hearing through video conference system SEGBİS.
Yüksekdağ was given 1 year prison sentence for alleged charge of “insulting the Turkish Republic Government” due to her speeches during a funeral and a press statement organized by HDP Adana branch at Uğur Mumcu Square on October 12, 2015.

Not sure how long she has already been in jail, but it may have been the almost 2 years since the speech.
