Reddit subscriber /u/AintGotNoTimeFoThis on The_Donald shows proof that Comey was lying about the reason he leaked his Trump memos.
Comey lied and said Trumps tweets caused him to leak to NYT through a Columbia law professor, but the Tweets came after the leaks
Comey memo leaked to the New York Times on May 11 at the latest.
Trump Tweets about tapes May 12.
Comey says that Trumps tweet about tapes caused him to leak memos to Times
Mr. Comey said he decided to make the conversation public through an intermediary after Mr. Trump said on Twitter that the former F.B.I. director had better hope there were no tapes of their discussions. He said he did so with the explicit hope of triggering the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Russian election interference.
I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday night, cause it didnt dawn on me originally that there might be corroboration for our conversation; there might be a tape, Mr. Comey said, referring to May 15. And my judgment was I needed to get that out in the public square so I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter. Didnt do it myself for a variety of reasons but I asked him to because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel. So I asked a close friend of mine to do it.

Comey just Outed himself lying
To people wondering whether the May 11 NYT story was based on the actual memos: this is from that article 3 days before the tweets:
By Mr. Comeys account, his answer to Mr. Trumps initial question apparently did not satisfy the president, the associates said. Later in the dinner, Mr. Trump again said to Mr. Comey that he needed his loyalty. Mr. Comey again replied that he would give him honesty and did not pledge his loyalty, according to the account of the conversation. But Mr. Trump pressed him on whether it would be honest loyalty. You will have that, Mr. Comey told his associates he responded.
Comey has shown himself to be completely full of crap and he clearly committed perjury. And it cannot be accidental perjury where he simply misspoke as the lie was the entire basis for the reason that he provided for his leaks.
caught lying under oath. That pretty much makes the rest of his testimony unreliable as well as any future testimony he might make.
CORRUPT COMEY LYING???? I am SHOCKED!!..../s
Lock him up!
“I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday night”
Trump is inside the head’s of the entire Obama/Clinton cartel.
Be very careful with this story. The reports I have seen state that the first NYT story was on May 16. If so, this article is incorrect and should not be repeated.
Or maybe we have a coverup underway. Hopefully someone will clarify.
Comey is a slime scuz. Former money laundering king for drug cartels.

The May 16 story is on the subject of "drop the Flynn investigation."
The "he better hope there are no tapes" tweet was May 12.
Comey has more than one memo, but clearly he leaked before the tapes tweet came out. Maybe Comey leaked more than once. Maybe his leaks are themselves full of BS. He said himself there was nobody to corroborate his version.
Much thanks for that clarification. Methinks we are are seeing a bit of muddy water via the MSM.
Situation normal. Most dishonest people on the planet.
Where is May 11 story. I found one on the 15th.
Yup. Loretta Lynch decided the Clinton emails investigation was to be labeled a matter thus avoiding any subpoenas/arrests, etc. Good to hear that, and now get Loretta Lunch in front of Congress to testify on her transgressions.
This was all in the letter from Trumps lawyer.

The word "matter" has ZERO legal significance, other than it might be a pronoun used to facilitate conversation.
Lynch's direction to mislead the public has no legal significance. The government has no duty to tell the truth to the public, only when in a legal proceeding before a judge - and even there, there is tons of wiggle room.
