In the past, his voice has been strong, even when his message was unreasoned.
Now, his weakness of voice, combined with seeming lack of comprehension, betrays his state of mind.
Having watched Lindsey what’s-his-name changing his tune recently, not toeing the McCain line, I have to ask if McCain’s “state of mind” is an extreme load of guilt over the persecution of an innocent man — yes, Mr. Trump — that he (McCain) unleashed by participating in the phony Russian dossier. A normal person would have trouble living with himself.
