The voters of Arizona has to start a petition and take it to the State Governor, they have to have a MAJORITY of voters signatures and legal address, etc. If anyone that is not legal, it disqualifies the petition...

Unfortunately, as I read the Constitution, the only way to remove a sitting Senator is by impeachment. And, as much as I would like to see him gone, anything that further distracts Trump’s agenda is a place we need not go.

No. There is no recall of Federal office holders, regardless of state law or some FReepers’ insistence. The US Senate could expel him, or he could be persuaded to resign of his own accord.

The quickest way to rein him in is for Mitch McConnell to strip him of Armed Services Committee chair. That’s his claim to leadership.

He could be removed from all committee assignments and even be expelled from the Senate GOP caucus to encourage him to resign.

No you can’t get him out. He ran against a good conservative, J.D. Hayworth in 08, and outspent Hayworth 17 to 1. We MUST have term limits to survive, methinks.

P.S. McCain spent millions hiring folks to offer jobs to Tea Party folks here the last 2 times he ran......

Nope

United States Senate: Expulsion and Censure

Article I, Section 5, of the United States Constitution provides that "Each House [of Congress] may determine the Rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two-thirds, expel a member."

Since 1789, the Senate has expelled only fifteen of its entire membership. Of that number, fourteen were charged with support of the Confederacy during the Civil War. In several other cases, the Senate considered expulsion proceedings but either found the member not guilty or failed to act before the member left office. In those cases, corruption was the primary cause of complaint.

Highly unlikely, he was reelected last November.
