I think it's pretty easy to put President Trump's statement of, “I need loyalty” into context. Any one who has been paying attention should realize he meant that he expected loyalty to his administration as opposed to Obama’s. PERIOD.

In my world, "loyalty" has a limit, but it's a limit most people know and appreciate. To those I am loyal to, I will openly share my thoughts, good bad or ugly. I will respect things told in confidence (rather than go out and tell a different circle), and I won't backstab. I might stab them to their face, even warn them I'm going to stab them in public - if they advocate something illegal or immoral. That is loyalty.
Comey has none of those qualities. He fancies himself God-like. He cannot be a good servant, it is not in his constitution.
