I will be honest that I am completely angry and baffled by this case. I have never heard of people being silenced. Is there a conservative legal group that will be perusing this? Why would any judge not want to see justice for this little victim? Why would the prosecutor seemingly be attacking the family? Nothing makes sense here.
I always assumed Idaho was a pretty conservative state.
Pursuing
It is, but it's slowly being Californicated, and has been since the early 90s.
Here's what's going on, Chobani builds in Twin Falls, and a huge tax influx occurs, keeping bureaucrats happy, at the same time, a significant boom to the local dairy industry also occurred, keeping dairy farmers, and their suppliers happy. That boom helped the local economy. It's keeping bread on the table for a lot of people. These people don't know all the facts behind Chobani, but they know things are good, and they're loathe to see a good thing go bad.
I think, however, they are slowly waking up to the reality, and the whole reason this case has been silenced to the point is has, is because they don't want to upset the good times of Chobani.
It’s conservative and liberal-tarian.
