Nice ... love the 10mm. Have a few, Kimber, Glock 20, Glock 40 and a Rock Island Ultra FS HC...... My Glock 21 got a 50GI caliber conversion kit from gun crafters industries.... still about 900fps but 300gr’s. 50 caliber Glock .
Were I ever to be limited to one handgun I’d go with the Glock 20 in 10mm as Guncrafters 50GI conversion kit fits the 20 and 21. Not sure if anyone makes a .22 rimfire conversion for the 20/21 variants. Would be a good system, 10mm, 50GI and .22 rimfire.
Nice. My other Glock 21 is a 460 Rowland. That’s a fun time. I’m getting a 200 grain Hornady XTP up to ~1425 fps. That’s 902 ft/lbs which is, curiously, twice the energy of the two .45 loads I was shooting yesterday and those were pretty much as stout as you can get and still be a 45 acp. It’s all just for S&Gs though. 10mm is as much as I would want to carry for self defense. I think it’s an ideal balance between magazine capacity and muzzle energy.
The Advantage Arms .22 conversion system works with the large-frame 10mm Glocks, and Glockmeister stocks them.Or does sometimes; they're out of stock RTI, at around $300.00.
And, by the way, the Mech-Tech .45 ACP *carbine kit* for the large frame Glock can be used as a conversion to let you run .45 through a Glock 20...which a pal of mine does, 27-round extension magazines not being available in 10mm, but quite common in .45acp.
