Don’t know what the impact of the debate will be, but it was very close before the debate.
The 24/7 media hatefest against Pres. Trump doesn’t help ‘Pubbies, either.

I’m in a swing district in Arizona. Like lots of folks, I never see ANY ads. I watch via streaming, not cable and not the airwaves.

When I do see ads, I tune them out entirely. If I pick up a call from the RNC, it is to chew them out for Juan McCain and Jeff McFlake.

I find it hard to believe paid advertising makes a huge impact unless it is a very well known candidate (McCain) running against an unknown. Then swamping the airwaves with ads - and I’ve noticed McCain never does that to attack democrats, only to attack Republicans - works.

Last November, I don’t think I saw a single Clinton or Trump ad. Nor would it have mattered. I was going to vote for Trump if I had to fight ISIS hordes all along the way.

Not saying that is true for this race or district. But if my swing district WAS having a special election right now, no ads would matter. Once again, ISIS could line the roads to the polling booth, and I’d arm up and run it. Even if the GOP candidate sucked. Just to support Trump - and I voted for Cruz in the primary! Doesn’t matter.

But we’ll see.

Anyone know the early voting party breakdown?

It looks like you are in "Pittsburgh, not Paris", which is good... but Georgia has no registered party affiliation.     The only thing we can tell is early turnout is very high with a preponderance of senior citizens.     That means conservative Republicans.     In addition to that, voter turnout on election days versus early voting favors Republicans. yippee ki yay!!

One more thing, carpetbagging in the South still has a very ugly connotation.     The stupid kid doesn't even live here, so how can he represent us?     As I said somewhere else last night, I want the creepy little punk to consume excrement and expire.

I like that phraseology. I’m going to start using it.

I was born and raised in the south, the south I grew up in this doofus wouldn’t have had a prayer of getting near 50% even in a large field. Sadly Yankee transplants and groupthink uneducated entitlement minded minorities make the south of today a far cry from when I lived there.

This district is a metro suburb, which means it certainly will have enough of the groups above floating around that if the GOP doesn’t GOTV even a carpet bagging, uneducated little pajama boy pansie like this doofus could sneak in.

Carpet bagging doesn’t sell to sane southerners, but if you think it will stop a died in the wool Democrat from voting for him, you aren’t paying attention. They will show up to vote for a pedophile necrophiliac as long as it has a D beside it’s name.

As I said I would elect the Republican to win rather handily, but that only happens as long as voters show up. If Is and Rs stay home they could sneak him in. I don’t think it’s going to happen, but democrats win when republicans get lazy
