Good morning everyone. Thinking of my grandfather today who landed at Omaha beach. He could tell the story very vividly and really thought he was going to die that day. I cannot imagine. I remember when I was in my late teens or early 20s he wanted to go see Saving Private Ryan so I took him. How the hell he sat through the opening scene I’ll never know other than to say he was a tough old man. He passed away last May. RIP, Pap.
On another note, the Pens better pull it together
I had an Uncle who stormed the beaches of Normandy and got a Silver Star..God Bless them all..
