GOP senator voices concerns about pro-Dem firm working 2020 Census
FOX News ^ | 06-05-2017 | By Will Carr

Concerns are being raised on Capitol Hill about whether partisan politics could impact the 2020 Census and swing congressional redistricting in favor of Democrats.

Fox News has learned that last summer, a pro-Democratic analytics firm that describes itself as “a platform for hope and change” was included as a subcontractor in a $415 million advertising contract for the 2020 Census.

The data firm, Civis Analytics, was founded by the chief analytics officer on former President Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign.

Since congressional redistricting, which occurs every 10 years, is based on the results of the national Census, the chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is now asking the secretary of the Department of Commerce to ensure that the Census will be conducted in a nonpartisan fashion -- and that redistricting will not be impacted.

Void that contract. You can’t trust a firm that has ties to Obama.

“Terminate them for convenience. “

Ywes, any contract surely has a termination clause. Then again, it was executed by the Obola Admin, so it could be anything.

IIRC, didn't Mister Obama try to move the Census Bureau to the White House? (And, might one suspect for purposes of voting abuse and corruption via a fudged census?)

Democrats (and Marxists and progressives) just HATE free and fair elections, n'est ce pas?

Even though it’s just an advertising contract, it’s big $$$$ to a Dem org that I’m sure will funnel that money to the DNC one way or another..................

Agreed. 2010 was terrible. We got the long form quesionair and I answered one question...how many people in house. So they sent someone out who claimed they never got the form. Now this person was clearly well trained and tried every tactic to get me to open my door (we were having the conversation through my front window). I finally got fed up and told her that the only way she was coming in my house was with a warrant and a piece officer escort. The neighborhood had lots of rented guest houses so she asks if she can go in the backyard to ask my “tenants” some questions. I had no guest house and it would have been easier to tell her that. But it was a lot more fun to say that she was welcome to go on back but the two pitt bulls in the yard wouldn’t be able to read her badge and would treat her like any old trespasser.

Democrats = crooks; fire them.

But we really just want to work together.

Unbelieveable. As if the Leftists would consider this arrangement for a minute. Or the traitor loudmouth ambassador over in London.

Pathetic.

Soon as they occupied the WH, Obama and the Chicago con artists:

<><> (a) took control of the US Census;

<><>(b) Obama placed his COS Rahm Emanuel in control of the US Dept of the Treasury (oversees the IRS).

====================================================

(a) Controlling the Census has a LOT to do with politics. The Census is used to determine demographics, to decide where to give grants and to determine who lives where, what their lifestyle is and their political affiliations. The census also determines what county is a blue or red county...which affects polls.

=======================================================

(b) PAUSE TO REFLECT First-term Obama had tight control of the US Treasury. Obama calculatedly placed his then-COS Rahm Emanuel in a dual role.......in the WH and at Treasury. Obama had a stranglehold on Treasury via COS Rahm Emanuel's dual role

==========================================

THE SMOKING GUN---WSJ REPORT--On Jan 20, 2009 Timothy Geithner was appointed Obama's Secy of the Treasury. But within three weeks, the Obama White House tightened its grip on Treasury. Obama put his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in charge of Treasury---Rahm Emanuel's dual role was an unusual move.

When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so involved in the inner workings that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. Reported by WSJ / 05/31/09

Call President Trump Comments: 202-456-1111 Switchboard: 202-456-1414 Trump MUST ask AG Sessions to find out the activities of Rahm and Obama at the US Treasury-----the paper trail must be fascinating.

I got it too-——and tossed it. Never heard from them again.

We should not have any subcontractor receiving any advertising contract for the Census. Cancel it and save $415 million for the taxpayers.

Perhaps trump can do an executive order that allows the census bureau to only ask how many people live at a given residence. That would be epic!
