Can we just get along?
This question is being asked more and more, what with the bitter polarization of the nation. The answer, right now, would appear to be a resounding no.
It’s not because we can’t. We don’t want to.
I had that thought the other day when I was listening to the Seattle City Council. Many council meetings of late involve left-wingers shouting at other left-wingers for not being left-wing enough. But on this day, a new purity test of left-wingedness was revealed.

Why would I even pretend to be a friend/acquaintance/pal/buddy/ etc etc of ANYONE that even thought a Hillary/Kaine ticket was a ‘winner’?

Absolutely. Came to the conclusion long ago that values and trustworthiness are reflected by personal ideology. If a person says they are “pro choice” or in the words of Obama view abortion as a great thing, then they have molded their conscience to accept the unrestricted killing of pre born human life. If they are capable of accommodating this atrocity, then they are quite capable of rationalizing any vile action. Found it always best to have the most superficial relationship that is absolutely necessary with such people and never ,ever trust them with any matter of importance.
Everything the left does has to have a political slant. From books to music to humor it all has to be political. Like all communist countries. And to be blacklisted as a conservative is just another step. The left dont tolerate opposing views. their arguments are so weak that they know it cant be defended.

At this point, I suspect it may not be possible to get off of the CW II train.
I do wonder if CW II isn’t specifically part of the plan.
The plan may not be to replace the US with foreign cultures (Mexican, Islamic) and far-Left scum (Antifa, BLM, etc) but to stir things up so badly that the country devolves into
A) Civil War and disintegrates, or
B) is willing to support a full-on Police State in order to hold the country together.

Let’s not forget that these are the same people who try to “understand” terrorists and what makes them that way.
They are tolerant of someone you dreams of beheading them, they just can’t tolerate republicans or conservatives who oppose abortion.
