Senate Committee on the Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley has launched a new investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s effort to thwart a Bangladesh government corruption probe of Muhammad Yunus, a Clinton Foundation donor and close friend of the Clintons.

The Iowa Republican’s effort is the first new official inquiry of Clinton since her unexpected loss in the 2016 presidential election to President Donald Trump. Trump’s supporters often chanted “lock her up” during his many boisterous campaign rallies.

It seems Tillerson would be helpful in releasing everything he has. If stuff is gone then explore that issue. Why would Tillerson block the release of information that is not classified? I agree the entire matter is more for show but Trump needs to open up all records from all Departments from the Obama regime.

These systems don’t actually lose email. The government has the records and the records can be found. Perhaps they will be found this time.

Absolutely true. The one thing government is good at is record keeping. Believe me, if emails were routinely lost the contractors running the computer systems and managing the server backups would be fired. There are countless backups of emails that are spread across numerous agencies (i.e, both for the original senders and the recipients in other agencies who backup their own files.) So your point is totally true.

BACKSTORY--- Another email Hillary "forgot" to handover: In July 2011, when Chelsea Clinton, a Clinton Foundation employee, was planning to see the U.S. women’s soccer team play in Germany, Chelsea's travel agent asked Hillary aide, Huma Abedin, to confirm that Chelsea’s travel costs could be placed on her parents’ credit card.

In an email response, Huma Abedin tells the travel agent that Chelsea and Bari Luri, Chelsea’s Clinton Foundation chief of staff, would be made part of the “official US govt delegation” going to the match and she would “fly on official govt plane both ways and the State Dept (we, the taxpayers) would take care of hotels and all transportation.”

NOTE: At the time we, the taxpayers were footing her bills, Chelsea was between jobs, but she was a highly-paid, fully-employed Clinton Foundation executive w/ her own chief of staff.

Despite his reputation, he still managed to gain special access to US government tax dollars thanks to his ties to his well-positioned cousin and the Clinton Foundation.

THE MONEY LAUNDRY Records show that Amanat and several other family members and related charities have together donated as much as $1.2 million to the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative, as well as the Clinton Health Access Initiative. Amanat, who personally contributed as much as $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation, was appointed to the Council on Foreign Relations during the time that Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary of state.

While the FBI has apparently closed its espionage investigation into Clinton’s unsecured private email server (the House has reopened it), its public corruption investigation into the Clinton Foundation remains open.

It’s not clear if this still-active probe overlaps with the Amanat fraud investigation. However, investigators reportedly continue to look into alleged “pay-for-play” schemes involving the Clinton State Department and the Clinton Foundation and its wealthy donors, as well as entities that paid the Clintons millions of dollars in speaking fees.

Judicial Watch and other government watchdog groups have charged that the Clinton Foundation was a pay-for-play operation that rewarded its benefactors with State Department favors.....and cash.

Canadian mining magnate Frank Giustra pledged $100 million to the foundation in 2005 and later benefited from the foundation’s predatory philanthropic work in Columbia where Giustra acquired large parcels of land and set up an oil business, ­according to watchdog groups.

Clinton and Giustra posed as do-good philanthropists to engineer the lucrative deal.

As Peter Schweizer documents in his book, "Clinton Cash," Digicel received millions in U.S. tax dollars from USAID, an agency overseen by the State Department, as part of the Haiti Mobile Money Initiative. The program was designed to establish a mobile money-transfer system that would allow individuals to send donations directly to friends and relatives in Haiti.

The State Department's "USAID Food for Peace" program, which was under the direct control of Hillary Clinton’s top aide Cheryl Mills, benefited Digicel.....to administer money transfers over its mobile network. Haitians received cell phones and a free Digicel account.

Digicel received grants courtesy of U.S. taxpayers, and collected millions in fees from Haitians every time they used the system, and significantly expanded its user base.

By 2012, Digicel had captured nearly 80 percent of the Haitian mobile phone market, and Haiti had surpassed Jamaica as the company’s most profitable market. Revenues were up 14 percent compared to 2011, and Digicel’s subscriber base increased by almost 30 percent during that period. O’Brien, who holds a 94 percent stake in the privately owned firm, continued to rake in cash. In 2014 alone, O’Brien awarded himself $650 million worth of dividends.

But Haitian Americans protested the Clinton Foundation offices say dirt-poor Haitians never got a dime...all of the tax dollars have been laundered into the foundation.

REALITY CHECK In some Haitian mountain villages there's no electricity (maybe generators for a few hours), no water, no septic, etc. - but dirt-poor Haiti does have cell-phone coverage.

Reading the many stories of Clinton "do-goodism" in Haiti....he is invariably standing before a Digicel sign. You can bet your bottom dollar the Clintons get a cut of that action.
