While I agree, it sure is annoying that the only time these types of concerns are addressed, is when we have someone who wouldn’t want to abuse them.
When Obama was abusing the IRS, and all sorts of eavesdropping rules... crickets!
These damn bastards in Congress are only addressing these things because Trump is in office. If Hillary were there, no concerns would be expressed at all.
Those were my very thoughts when reading this.
0bama probably abused this for his entire eight years, we know he certainly did for his second term and not a thing was done about it.
Now that President Trump is at the reins a Republican comes forward and wants to fix it...I’m skeptical of his motives but it does need to be specifically changed with dire consequences for people that abuse it as it was abused by 0bama’s administration.
