Faithful God,
We confess that Your mercies are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. We so seldom pause to think about how blessed we are by the fact that You are steadfast and sure, faithful in all things. In this world where so often people cannot be depended upon, and faithfulness is seldom valued; yet You, Lord, stand as a mighty pillar of strength above us all---faithful, dependable, never-changing. How blessed is Your Holy Name.
Father, our beloved troops are dear to our hearts and to Yours as well. We ask You to help them to put on charity in all things, to let the peace of God rule in their hearts during these trying times. We pray that they would be thankful; for in our thankfulness, our minds are swept away from our circumstances and are fixed upon You and Your unfailing love. We are confident that those who put their trust in You will never be ashamed.
Father, we pray Your comfort and peace for the people of London who have endured another terrorist attack. Please give their nation's leaders wisdom as they work to make life safe for their citizens.Thank You, Lord for helping President Trump to make a tough but needful decision this week regarding the Paris Climate Accord. Thank You that He stood up for the people of America instead of bowing down to political correctness and false science. Lord, please keep him strong and faithful to Your Word. Help him to receive Your wisdom and truth and to continue to prevail over his enemies. Father, we ask for Your angels to surround him and his family always.
May Your blessed peace be upon Israel and all who dwell there. And may the Gospel be shared with each person, that none would perish, but all would come to repentance. Thank You for blessing those who bless Israel, Father. We pray that our country would always remember to pray for her and to elect people who will support her.
And now, Lord, may You, our God of peace Who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that Great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make us perfect in every good work to do Your will. May You work in us that which is well-pleasing in Your sight, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory for ever and ever. In His Name we pray, Amen.

I have heard missionaries to muslim countries tell that during Ramadan many muslims actually come to Christ.
Apparently they actually believe they are worshiping the one true God and during this time of fasting and seeking God, those whose hearts are genuinely seeking God are open and sensitive towards Him and receptive to His work and come to Christ.
This would be a good time to remember to pray for those whom God is calling out of islam for their salvation and protection.
I know there are a lot of hard feelings towards muslims they were born into that ideology and had no choice in that matter. Those who are truly deceived have my compassion. I would not want to be in their place.
We can pray that God would open their eyes and bring them to Jesus.

Thank you, metmom, for sharing your thoughts and for your wonderful suggestion that we pray for those who have been deceived.
Lord, we do ask for the Holy Spirit to speak to those Muslims who are ready and willing to listen. May their hearts be inclined to Your testimonies, and may You place Your people in their lives to share the good news of the Gospel. Thank You, Lord, that it is not Your will that any should perish but that all may come to repentance. We bless Your mighty and awesome Name, through Jesus Christ. Amen.
