Many people aren't aware that because Britain was disarmed, they were desperately short of small arms for home defense when the Germans threatened to invade in 1940.

The NRA collected donated American rifles that were sent to Britain to arm the Home Guard.

They sent back a few and destroyed the rest. Next time, I ain't agonna send any of mine over.
