To: Uncle Sam 911

Can this be the nation that produced The Few, who were the people who sang in the Underground during the Blitz, who manned the tanker Ohio as it made its way to Malta, who withstood the “doodlebugs” and V2s, whose national service soldiers kept the Chinese fromtaking Gloster Hill in 51. These events are not long passed as history goes. What happened there?

What happened? A lot of the best of the British got killed in the war. And Churchill was rewarded for his efforts by being tossed out soon after the war in favor of Clement Atlee.
