Since February, the EPA has announced some two dozen major regulatory actions on climate, water pollution, pesticide use and other areas. Trump’s executive orders calling for the elimination of Obama’s Clean Power Plan and of a rule protecting small and intermittent waterways rank as the highest-profile moves.

“Administrator Pruitt is implementing President Trump’s executive orders to protect the environment, save manufacturing jobs and promote American energy independence,” spokeswoman Liz Bowman said.

The EPA is revisiting tighter fuel efficiency standards for cars and light trucks as well as standards that would cut emissions of methane, a potent greenhouse gas, from existing municipal solid-waste landfills. It has paused its first methane emission limits from new and heavily modified oil and gas wells; delayed when power plants must use up-to-date technology to reduce mercury and other toxins in wastewater; and stopped a ban on a commonly used pesticide, chlorpyrifos, just before it was set to be finalized. The agency is also seeking to delay oral arguments in two cases challenging its 2012 standard for air toxins from power plants...

Seems the stupid reporters cannot buy the idea that Trump knows a thing or two so they have to find the one who is really the president.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to dismantle and discredit the EPA and redirect its funding into appropriate channels.

This tape will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, Scott.

Presser comments were getting down to the personal level with Sec Pruitt on Friday. One A$$-hole asked him if he, Pruitt, has his head in the sand. Also the continuous questions if Prez Trump was against global warming. Prez Trump plez stop these useless pressers.

I agree...stop the pressers - or fill the room with some less hostile or even friendly press.

That would be better than letting them control it all. IMO.

And we all wish him full success.

The EPA is Richard (Dick Nixon before he dicks you) Nixon’s loving legacy to the country. Thanks for nothing Dick

The EPA in the past has always seemed to do more harm than good. Let’s hope Scott Pruitt can reverse that trend at the very least.

They need to get out of the business of regulation and get these issues back into the courts. If your activity in some way imposes on my property rights, then I take you to court to get you to stop that activity.
