That’s been her defense for it. There’s not even a correlation. If she had a Trump look alike that had blood for tears - that would have made sense. But, this is a long shot and no one thought that what it was about.
The reason no one thought that’s what it was about was because that is NOT what it was at all. She knows it and she’s lying to make a lame excuse. I’m glad no one is buying into it.
A true apology is an apology. No ‘buts or excuses’. Just sincerity. She’s not sorry about what she did. She’s sorry that people are turning their back on her.
