Ivanka Trump has been quiet on Twitter the past few days while observing the Jewish holiday Shavuot.
On Thursday, she broke her silence, sending out messages of support for her LGBTQ friends.
"Logging back on after Shavuot, wishing everyone a joyful #Pride2017," Ivanka wrote in the first tweet. "This month we celebrate and honor the #LGBTQ community."
"I am proud to support my LGBTQ friends," Ivanka shared in the second, "and the LGBTQ Americans who have made immense contributions to our society and economy."
The shout-out to gay rights backfired. Many slammed her for tweeting about Pride Month hours after her father, President Donald Trump, announced his decision to pull the United States out of the Paris climate agreement.

And they are also pissed that Trump hasn’t issued an official proclamation for “Pride Month.”

Ivanka needs to wake up.
Why? Her father is in an epic battle against the liberal and conservative politicians, so she chooses this moment to gin up her own political following and draw attention to herself? Just why?
Interesting. The slams came from the left whom she was commending, not the right. I hope this starts to open her eyes.
They're disasters; she even more than he, thus far.

The suit is still stored in a protective case, but I’m sure the polyester could hold it’s own.
Nothing, absolutely N-O-T-H-I-N-G, is going to “open her eyes”, since nothing thus far has.
The Conservative movement has been allowing gay rabbis and gay civil unions for 11 years now. That caused a split among the rabbis, but AFAIK this has not been reversed.
It's who Ivanka is ... she's the peacock and must be the center of attention.
Plus, she's acting out ... Daddy did not listen to her on climate change ... and she spearheaded many meetings in an effort to have him stay with the treaty.
I honestly doubt she will wise up.

And this newish "MODERN ORTHODOX" sect, appears to be even worse. So big deal...they keep kosher and tend to celebrate every holiday, but everything else seems to be faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar lefty.
I agree about the Reform sect. They appear to have infiltrated the more right-leaning ones, to everyone’s detriment ultimately.
Why would anyone want to talk about this crap, much less announce it in public?
