Kathy Griffin has hired high-powered attorney Lisa Bloom and will hold a press conference Friday to address the firestorm surrounding the viral image of herself holding the bloody, decapitated head of President Donald Trump and the “bullying” she claims she has endured at the hands of the Trump family as a result.
In a statement on her Twitter account, Bloom — who represented actress Mischa Baron in her sex tape case and former Fox News contributor Wendy Walsh in her harassment suit against the network — announced that she and Griffin would hold a press conference at 9 a.m. Friday at The Bloom Firm in Woodland Hills.
“Earlier this week, Ms. Griffin released a controversial photograph of herself posing with a faux-bloody mask of Donald Trump’s face,” the attorney’s statement read. “Ms. Griffin and Ms. Bloom will explain the true motivation behind the image, and respond to the bullying from the Trump family she has endured.”

No one criticizing Trump is supposed to get into trouble. That is why Lisa Bloom is appearing with her. They’re going to remind people of Trump’s campaign etc.
There’s an unfortunate feminist phenomenon of fairly recent vintage known as cry-bullying, and this little cretin is now Exhibit A.

The ‘bullying’ claim affirms that she was not sorry in the least for her violent and appalling display.
Also questioning if there’s a democrap operative prompting Ms. Griffin. I’m sure the Dems would love to see the media make this the next Trump ‘controversy’.
What should happen here:
1. Griffin offers a real apology
2. Griffin is visiting by the Secret Service.
3. Griffin’s career goes from bad to worse, to “..would you like fries with that?”
4. Somehow, sometime in the future Griffin finally realizes how sick, childish, hurtful and stupid her actions were.
Kathy, the first rule of holes is: Stop Digging!
For me to accept witch Kathy’s apology, she must first hold up the bloodied heads of Hussein, Hillary and Mohamed.
OK, great! She will prolong the disgust that Deplorables feel for the Leftists and the Fake News.
The Dems will pay a heavy price for prolonging this controversy. Bring it on Schumer, Anderson, Todd, Pelosi.
Maybe they can keep their barbaric photo in the public consciousness through the 2018 mid-terms. We win big on this one.

No. Let’s hope she keeps digging. I hope this press conference shows her whining and crying about all the “bullying” that she got from the Trump family. I hope she tries to claim that Trump calling her “sick” is bullying. I hope that she tries to claim that Melania questioning her sanity is “bullying.” I hope she tears up about all the nasty comments that she’s getting on Twitter — how people are calling her bad names. I hope she uses the word “misogyny” a couple times. I hope she tries to get people to believe that she was actually scared for her life after the “death threats” that she got on Twitter. Let’s put aside the fact that Twitter is a cesspool and you can get death threats by tweeting a picture of a puppy. Let’s hope she reveals her true, amazing self-absorbed self. That she shows that she actually believes that she is the victim in all this and its not just a publicity stunt. That would be real comedy.

If the libs don’t keep this barbaric photo in the public consciousness through the mid-terms, our side of the aisle should, which we can use to our advantage, if we play it correctly. I saw one ad here on FR this morning using this controversy against ossof in Georgia. It is devastatingly effective.
she’s resorting to ‘the best defense is an offense’ theory. I sure hope the masses are smarter than that. But the previous 8 years don’t bode well for the collective intelligence of the citizenry. Although we did show some intelligence in November, 2016. Prayers for our country.
The only word I can think of that perfectly describes this horrible, waste of oxygen, would mean the immediate banning of myself from FR.
And I would agree with such a decision. But I can still think it, and use it among kindred spirits.
