That’s $10K per person per year or about $840 a month per person.

I wonder how much companies, individuals, medicare, medicaid pay in health care insurance right now. I got a feeling it’s not that different cost wise. (Just checked, two years ago the US spent an average $9990 per capita, so I was pretty close)

The problem is that it’ll provide post-office type of service. Rationing will be an issue for sure, and when it’s “free” abuse and waste will be prevalent, and any centralized system will have more corruption.

I don’t mind each state trying different ideas. I wouldn’t want it on a national level, though.
