Nikon’s are awesome cameras. [I knew you were one of those! LOL!] They aren’t cheap but worth it when you can get awesome pictures like you did of the moon!

My son warned me not to come to WY in August because Jackson Hole is “ground zero” for the eclipse and thousands of people are supposed to be there. Woudn’t it be a shame if it were cloudy that night? People that don’t care to see it are leaving town and renting their homes out for the time of the event. They are going to make some big bucks from that, clouds or not! LOL!

If they're all as good as the one I had, they ARE awesome. The one I had wasn't too expensive to begin with but sale the price was irresistible. The sales guy tried to direct me to the more expensive ones but nope. They can sucker Hubby but not me. LOL! I can't imagine one of the expensive ones could be much, if any, better than the one I bought.

I looked up the path of the eclipse since TN is supposed to be in the path and people are planning to be around the Nashville area for it. The path runs at a weird angle across the country. Maps can be found here

We aren't quite in the direct path but are close enough. Hubby mentioned going to Nashville or Lebanon but he can go alone. I'm not going to deal with the mobs and the traffic.

It's a solar eclipse so it'll be during the day. I look forward to seeing it get dark in the middle of the day. Gonna be creepy.
