Billionaire financier George Soros said Thursday the European Union is in an "existential crisis" and needs to be reinvented in the face of growing threats.
"The reinvention would have to revive the support that the European Union used to enjoy," the Hungarian-born Soros said at the Brussels Economic Forum.
Such reinvention would have to review the past and explain to European citizens what went wrong and then make proposals to make things right. Soros welcomed a German idea to cut European funds aimed at reducing income inequalities at the regional level for those countries disrespecting the rule of law. Both Hungary and Poland (won't take Muslim Immigrants), which are net recipients of the so-called cohesion funds, have been criticized by European institution for their weak standards with regards to the rule of law.
Hostile powers
Soros said Europe needs to overcome the current "existential crisis" by fighting together against the rise of anti-European sentiment, xenophobic feelings and surrounding "hostile powers."
"Putin's Russia, Erdogan's Turkey, Sisi's Egypt and the America that Trump would like to create if he could, but can't," the U.S. financier added when talking about hostile powers.
He called for an update of European treaties to make the EU work better and allow a "multitrack" bloc where countries would have a wider variety of choices when it comes to integration.

Soros isn’t afraid to admit he believes he’s God, or a god:

He also admits to not being the charitable person he pretends to be:

I’m very comfortable with my public persona because it is one I have created for myself. It represents what I like to be as distinct from what I really am. You know, in my personal capacity I’m not actually a selfless philanthropic person. I’ve very much self-centered.”
Soros was more succinct when he explained his life philosophy to biographer Michael Kaufman. “I am kind of a nut who wants to have an impact,” he said.

He’s well known for stirring up racial strife, anti-whatever protests and chaos to move ‘HIS’ money making agenda along.......he cares nothing about the world or it’s people....he simply loves the power he can weld. He is EVIL as evil comes......
Well you can’t get the Anti-Christ into position until Europe has it’s nations in lockstep and ready to accept a world leader who will solve all their problems. They are pretty much ripe for it now.....
Currently Merkel and Marcon are the only ones really holding the EU together as one entity.....and the Demorats here supporting them. They will eventually try to get someone to answer all the questions of their Multinational push and lift them out of their fall.......it’s not bad enough yet....
Interesting how Merkel and Macron are entertaining Russia as their new and revived “friend” after Trump said No!
