The former Ukip leader said his push for Britain to exit the European Union had been hellish and had contributed to the breakup of his family...
Farage admitted the sheer nastiness and agro of the campaign had affected him hard.
Asked whether he was single, he said: Thats a very good question. A lot of people are asking that question...
I think separated is my legal status. I dont think anyone would have survived what Ive been doing for the last five years frankly...

And now we know why he stepped down from UKIP leadership recently.
Get on Tinder.
How about praying for a reconciliation? Separated isn’t divorced; there’s still hope.
Who is stopping you stalker?
Personally I seen what he is like in public.
Why the nasty response? A married man shouldn’t use Tinder.
Nasty?
Just an observation.
You are free to formulate your own ideas in a non religious thread.
Yes, it’s nasty to call someone a stalker. I replied to the idea that a married man should use Tinder. On a site dedicated, in part, to God and family , that’s an unhelpful (at best) suggestion.
But you are a stalker who recently pinged me to a thread to troll me. Where, I might add, you tried to use The Holy Cross as a weapon too. You are the nasty one here.
Farage says his legal status is separated not married. I don’t know Farage’s religious belief but a separated person can of course use Tinder.
It’s not possible for a normal person to post prayers in every non religious thread covering all possible spiritual issues. Only a sick minded troll who uses the Holy Cross, for at least the third time now, as a weapon against a fellow FReeper would think so.
Waiting for you to lead the prayer vigil for Farage’s failed marriage.
If you don’t start doing so now, it will confirm your personal stalking vendetta against me.
‘But you are a stalker who recently pinged me to a thread to troll me. Where, I might add, you tried to use The Holy Cross as a weapon too.’
Misrepresenting why I thought that thread would interest you is unhelpful at best.
God doesn’t recognize the category of ‘separated.’ In God’s eyes a person is married or not. God hates divorce. For a married man to use Tinder makes divorce far more likely. Such suggestions are unhelpful.
I also missed Farage seeking prayers for his failed marriage that he calls separated... In an article that he participated in that asked if he would have sex with a remainer.
My point is a simple one. Any person who is in a troubled marriage would do better to pray than to use Tinder.
Didn’t say he had to do say today.
‘Didnt say he had to do say today.’
Clarification?
When it comes to making suggestions for people in troubled marriages, we can’t go outside God’s guidelines. Were Jesus to personally encounter Farage today, it’s impossible to imagine Him steering Nigel to Tinder. It seems far more likely that the Lord would enourage Farage to pray for and work toward reconciliation.
You need to contact Farage about what his religious beliefs are instead of trolling me about it.
There’s no need to be nasty.
I wasn’t nasty. You could attempt to reach him via the internet, marriage counsel him and provide a link to your prayer vigil here for his failed marriage - a prayer vigil that you can start doing right now.
Go!...
Repeatedly misrepresenting my motives is certainly nasty.
Jesus taught that we are not to pray on street corners for public acclaim. He said we should go into our closet and shut the door. You do not know what prayers I have offered to God in privacy.
As I’ve already stated at least twice, my post had to do with suggestions. Rather than suggest a married man use Tinder, we should urge reconciliation. Certainly prayer is a part of that process.
