Kushner wanted to use a Russian SCIF to avoid US intelligence as a private citizen..

He lied about the meeting on his security clearance form which is a felony.

You dont just forget a meeting with a known Russian spy asking to use their equipment.

There was no way Russia was going to let him come into their Embassy and use their SCIF

Btw...what obama did was Wrong too....he Interfered in what Bush was trying to do at the time...and very possibly altered the outcome.

Using his actions or anyone elses to excuse kushners bone headed move is wrong to do.

We all know Trump can pardon Kushner for covering up the meeting on his security form...

The incoming administration wanted to set up a back channel because Obama and Kerry have us toe to toe with the Russians in Syria. They also wanted to avoid leaks of discussions with the Russians. We know about all of this because the Obama Administration leaked intercepts between the Russian ambassador and his government.

Leaking of material like that exposes capabilities of the TS/SCI/SAP variety. A serious felony.

You can hate Kushner all you want This was NOT a meeting with a foreign government or agent for any reason other than govt business. This is not. covered by the security requests.
