You are falling for the liberal narrative. Which is half the problem we face today. Conservatives simply accept the false premises that the MSM puts out there and tries to defend against them.
This reporter was hardly "smacked around", otherwise he'd be dealing with worse than broken glasses and he wouldn't be in condition to be tweeting about his "attack" right afterwards like some hysterical little girl who had her pigtail pulled by the kid sitting in back of her. All he got was a much-deserved shove to the ground for invading another man's space.
Used to be that men were much more civil to each other. That's because if you weren't, you were likely to get a punch in the teeth and then a kick to the stomach after you went down. In those days, men had more of a respect for each other and beta men knew better than to mess with an alpha man. Now, in this environment of "zero tolerance" for violence of any kind, pencil-necked geeks like this reporter can get in the faces of real men with impunity, knowing that they are protected by the same code of chivalry that used to be reserved for just women.
Well that code of chivalry is starting to break down. Chivalry only works when the recipients of it are deferential and respectful of those who practice it.
Nothing wrong with a little fistfight. Everybody is so sissified now that it’s a big deal. But it used not to be. What about dueling?
