except...how do you blackmail a Democrat. Perhaps they have evidence that a given Democrat is straight, rather than gay? That could be a career killer. Or perhaps they have evidence that a particular Democrat never tried to burn down a college administration building? That could also be a career killer. Or perhaps a Democrat did not have an intern ‘work on him’ while he sat in his office?
