“Productive” and “California Democrat” are two concepts that simply do not belong in the same sentence.
The current spate of “environmental” restrictions now placed on EVERYBODY in California are all designed first to REDUCE productivity, or stymie it altogether, and secondly as a source of revenue through taxation of just about every kind of initiative and the application of ingenuity to the workplace.
If there is an efficient and economical way to do something, and a much less effective course of action, the Democrat majority in the California Assembly and the Democrat Governor will insist on applying the much less effective course of action.
Let the dams in the mountains go to crumbling disrepair, to help the snail darter to thrive, shut down thousands of acres of fertile and arable land to divert the water to urban centers, build a “bullet train” in an attempt to revive an obsolete means of transporting people, then direct it to a place where there is GUARANTEED no ridership, shut down power plants within the state and demand the power grid switch all their power into California, making California into a net IMPORTER of electricity, shut down all the petroleum and natural gas production within the state because these are “dirty” industries, and there are probably endless other examples.
Maybe the state can go on a bitcoin economy, and simply make the cash flow up through clever manipulation of the bitcoin scam.

The Founding Fathers knew exactly that what they were doing was best for the new country. Back then, you also had to be a land owner in order to vote.
It wasn’t that they were “sexist”. They loved their women. It was because they knew they voted their “emotions” and not the issues. Land owners had a huge stake in the new country. The Founding Fathers knew that if the low-life got to vote how the treasury was used, it would only be a matter of time before the treasury went dry. Yeah, they knew exactly what they were doing.

Where’s the BARF ALERT?! I got as far as the lying, mendacious, obama-caliber BS about the poor “23 million” who will supposedly LOSE their health insurance. The TRUTH of the matter is that under the new plan, with more and better open market options, it’s estimated that 23 million FREE, SANE Americans will opt to buy their insurance on their own, outside the gubmint plan, at a more economical cost.
