If Big Media ever posted the TRUTH about Socialism and Communism, Capitalism would rise again. I used to work with a woman who lived in the USSR. Everybody worked for the ‘Government’ and the ‘Government’ gave everybody an allowance. You had to wait in line for food, and clothing was extremely expensive. Socialism allows people to work for their own wages, but the People are then taxed at sky high rates to equalize the outcomes (when I was working at the NHS in Britain, I was making peanuts, but was taxed at 50%, the lowest tax rate then) No value on different jobs. And the ‘free’ health care and the ‘free’ food? All paid for by taxes on ALL the people, including the working poor. No thanks.
Some thirty years ago, an acquaintance who had lived in communist Czechoslovakia related that the people tuned out the party news propaganda in newspapers and TV. Everyone knew everything they read or watched was fake news.
I was reminded of that today, when Rush said much the same thing, that there is nothing to learn from 99% of what passes for news.
