Scooter Braun, manager for pop star Ariana Grande, took to Twitter Wednesday to share his response to the deadly Manchester terror attack that occurred Monday following the singer’s concert, encouraging his followers to respond to the attack with “love and joy” and to stand in solidarity with the city and with the “children of Syria.”

“I will honor those that r lost by living each day full,” Braun tweeted. “Full of fun, full of laughter, full of joy. I welcome the differences of my neighbor. The wish of terrorism is to take away that feeling of freedom and joy. No. That is my answer. No. We can’t allow it. Fear cannot rule the day.”

Thank you, Mr. Van Driessen.
Who are you and what have you done with DoughtyOne?

That’s okay. Hey, I’m not going to hit every one out of the park.

She certainly seems to beg for these types of observations. Can’t blame folks for seeing it that way.

Such a shame.

Ari and her group should go into Mosques and offer those people free back stage passes to all of her shows so that they can see how open and tolerant Grande and her crew are. :)

Ms. Grande, Ms. Perry & all the rest of the Liberal entertainment had better realize that concerts & other crowded events are now being targeted by the terrorists. It can’t be long before they target the entertainers specifically. If the Manchester bomber has been close to the stage he might have killed or maimed Ms. Grande.

All the peace & love crap wont stop one nail or screw. Neither will a few bodyguards. Better insist on strict security at future events.

In other words she wants more of her fans killed. The correct response would be to state that you are increasing security to protect fans at your events. You can bet her insurers are going to demand it going forward.

After all this time they’re probably not much to look at.

Ariana Grande should show her solidarity with Islamic children by having her genitals mutilated

However, I read that Ms. Grande has offered to pay for all the funerals. It is a very kind gesture

Yeah with other peoples money...

she said it knowing her “loving fans” would jump at the chance to join her in her “kindness”

watch the “donations” roll in...probably enough to bury the victims 10 times over...

she wont have to give a penny...

though she will be lauded for “paying for all those funerals”

its a publicity stunt..

It’s still a kind gesture. All her money was other people’s money until they voluntarily gave it to her in exchange for her performances. That’s how an economy works.

All our money was other people’s money, until they voluntarily exchanged it for various goods and services they valued, and then a merchant gave it to my husband in exchange for building a computer network.

I don’t mean the money she earned singing...

I mean the money that will come in now that she claims she will pay for the funerals...

money from people wanting to join her in her “generosity”

she wont end up paying for the funerals herself at all...

it was several hours after the Islamic terrorist attack that she finally gave out a statement ...to much like an afterthought for publicity ...

no crisis is wasted...

A word to all entertainers/Hollywood morons: Lennon and McCartney (along with others of their generation) where arguably the greatest singer/songwriters in pop history and THEY couldn’t bring about world peace.....what makes any of you think that your 3 minute throwaway pop songs and whore-dancing will have a real effect on the world?

Your words do make me pause, which I appreciate. I often find your posts state what is in my mind and I would hope we all serve to sharpen and encourage each other in better ways.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, we have all done things for which we are embarrassed. Hopefully, she learns from her mistakes, rather than doubling down on them, yet again.

I appreciate the nice response.

She has done plenty to get some stiff criticism for. I’ll grant you that. Some of it is pretty shocking.

It makes me wonder what in the heck is she thinking, and where did she get that? Does she have parents? Are they terrible people? Are they intimidated by her, and can’t give her guidance?

There are people who think that there is no such thing as bad publicity. If you’re on people’s minds, that’s what counts. This leads me to think at times, that they go way over the top simply to get attention. That’s not an excuse either. This may or may not be in play here, but whether it is or not, some of this stuff is simply unacceptable.

I do not know why I think one way with Ariana and another with Katy Perry. I have given it some thought.

I agree with your take on things in this note, and I appreciate you sharing those thoughts with me.
