A Miami-Dade pastor at the center of media attention for television news stories that report he allegedly defrauded customers, is filing a multimillion-dollar defamation of character lawsuit against the media outlet.
An attorney for Pastor Eric Readon of New Beginnings Baptist Church in Opa-locka, on Tuesday said he is suing WPLG-Channel 10....

“The attorney said the stories involved people with whom Readon had business dealings and havent seen eye to eye, and that those dealings resulted in several lawsuits. Kassier said none of the incidents related to Readons role as a minister. He said that in the second story, Channel 10 accused Readon of using the church to defraud people.”

My former church lost it years ago when the criteria for a new pastor became ‘how much money he would bring in’.
The pastor may be a scumbag....but hope he takes the media to the cleaners lol
This game is more complex that tic-tac-toe.
It is to me, but what do I know, I’m Catholic. Honestly there are tons of ‘non demoninational’ churches that are nothing but capitalism in action.
