NO TIES!!!

This is American Football...Not soccer, NO F’n ties!!! It feels the same, but you know it still isn’t right, it’s un-American!!!

“Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser. Americans play to win all the time. That’s why Americans have never lost and will never lose a war. The very thought of losing is hateful to Americans.” General George S. Patton, 1944

No TIES!!!

Un-American is equally sharing the revenues amongst teams, even amongst the ones who suck. In soccer, if you suck, you get relegated, and good teams get promoted. Now THAT'S American.

For most of the history of the NFL, and in college football, ties were quite common. Not as common as in pre-overtime NHL hockey, but common.

Here is an arbitrarily chosen year 's standings:

For the record, the Rams beat the Browns for the Championship, the second of three Rams championships, and the only one in L.A.

Exactly.
There is too much physical bodily sacrifice for any team to have to settle for a tie.
I think this move is just brought on by after game highlight show motives. $$$

What’s worse than ties are those tiebreakers.
Now if the Chargers beat the Seahawks by 14 points or more, they’re in, unless the Steelers beat the Bengals next week.
If more games ended in ties, you’d have less need for tiebreakers.
