Exactly. Why should I waste my time listening to pompous talking heads “reporting” what THEY think is news-worthy enough to fill a 1/2 hour time-slot (and worse yet, what my opinion about the subject should be)?
No, one reason I appreciated FR is that I can peruse headlines posted by (mostly!) smart individuals and pick the stories about which I want (or need) to be informed.
Also the TV has a better chance of surviving.
