Deputy Chair of Democratic National Committee Telling Democrats to 'Back Off' Russia Claims

OK, gang, time to move along – other stuff is more important. That's the logical strategy for the Democratic Party leadership to signal the base that the Russia conspiracy narrative has served its purpose and belongs in the Memory Hole. You don't want to go farther out on the limb of an unfounded charge dreamed up to explain away the failure of Hillary and her campaign henchpeople to pull off the expected victory.

But such a judicious approach is not the métier of rabble-rouser Thomas Perez, the party chairman. Into the breach leaped Representative Keith Ellison, the consolation prize-holder of the invented title of "Deputy Chair of the Democratic National Committee" and the First Muslim Elected to Congress (a pioneer!).

George, what I want to say is that I've just been on the trail talking to people all over the country. I was just in Oklahoma. And to them, it's like, yeah, this Russia thing, they're very concerned about it. But also the health care debate we're in, repealing Dodd-Frank, the whole piece of it is what people are really focused on. You want to talk about what's the real story as opposed to this week's mess? All this stuff just looks to people like it's crazy. It's chaotic. And I'm going to show up in my congressman's meeting and I'm going to be part of this upsurge of democracy.

Nice pep talk. I am sure that the remaining sane donors understand your intentions.

When Deputy Chair Keith Ellison is the wise voice of restraint, the party's leader fairly can be labeled as "extreme."

This tells me that the dems have something to fear with a continuation of this. They have been singing this “Russian Collusion”, and “Russia Hacked the Election”, for over 6 months now, and it has served them well, to keep a taint over the Trump administration in the MSM for all this time.

If they are now wanting to back off on that, then they are afraid of what will come out. Possibly with Comey gone at FBI, they are no longer protected.

This could become very interesting.

The New York Times reported the Clintons' Russian connections thusly: "Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal."

Plus Bill Clinton pocketed $500,000 from a Moscow investment bank for a brief speech.

NOTE--The NYT and Washington Post never reported about Pravda's headline: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.” Imagine if a Republican State Department approved such a deal?

More egregiously, Hillary's campaign chairman, the ubiquitous John Podesta, acting as "The Podesta Group" (co-founded w/ his brother, Tony) lobbied on behalf of Uranium one, after most of it was owned by Russia.

There's virtually no evidence to support claims of Trump's ties to Russia........but there is damning concrete evidence, in the form of documents, indicate that Hillary Clinton and John Podesta have some explaining to do when it comes to their ties to Russia.

Remember how Hillary Clinton used a fake story about a computer server at Trump Tower, which the Obama administration asked for a FISA court permission to wiretap, to brow beat then candidate Trump? You don't?

The story was bogus. Investigative reporter Jerome Corsi uncovered some documents from a Russian bank that show how a Russian billionaire with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin paid huge financial payments to both John Podesta and the Clinton Foundation.

Jerome Corsi reports: The money trail hunt begins with a document Infowars has obtained from the Russian Central Bank “Registry of Significant Control,” known generally as the “RSC Registry.”

This document traces the ownership of Metcombank, a relatively small Russian-domiciled bank located in the Russian Ural Mountains, to ownership by Viktor Vekselberg, a Russian billionaire with close ties to Putin.

As we shall see this document provides evidence of the circuitous path the Russian government has been using since Hillary Clinton was secretary of state to make large financial payments to John Podesta and to the Clinton Foundation.

What Trump did in Saudi Arabia is aimed directly against Iran, and indirectly against Russian influence in the ME.

There is just no way that this trip comports with the idea of collusion with Russia.

Perhaps that is why the Democrats have decided to tone it down.

But the Russian connections to Hillary are quite curious— even more so because Putin has done very little to mask his contempt for both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
