Agreed. What should happen is to get the government out of the student loan business. Community college with a transfer after the two-year degree is earned should be sufficient for the majority of our current college crop. And taking two courses at a time, while working, on three semesters a year is how poor students used to get through anyway. The vast majority of our college students should graduate without any debt at all.
