YIKES!!! Be safe....that’s a lot of days in a row.
We’re glad ours bring us pressies like that. We don’t want those lil varmints in the house. When I first moved here, there WERE mice in the walls but not any more! LOL
We had one cat who couldn’t catch anything no matter how hard she tried. So one year she proudly brought us corn cobs from the fields .... hundreds of them! ROTFL! They were all over the deck and back yard. We could hear her yeowl as she walked all the way from the field to the house with her most recent prize. Poor stupid Morgan.
Shags is quite a fine looking gentleman. His fur looks soft and shiny and maybe like a jungle cat.
If you’ve been to a store that sells dried eucalyptus stems and you got out of there able to breathe normally, you probably aren’t allergic. That stuff wears me out and that sucks because I really like the fragrance. It doesn’t make me sneeze. It makes my eyes water, nose run, makes my throat hurt. Not fun at all. Roses do the same thing. :-(
He is a fine looking gentleman, isn’t he? He sure wasn’t when he showed up. His gorgeous classic tabby markings don’t show well in the pic but all the colors do. The coloring is a little unusual.
He’s soft but most of the time his coat is “lumpy” with little sticky seeds he picks up when he wanders. I have to brush him every day to get them out. I wish he’d find some other playground.
Poor baby! LOL! You could have hired her out as a corn picker...if they didn’t have machines that do it a bit faster! I hope you got a picture of her prizes! :)
Yeah, she was our dumb blonde ..... an orange tabby. Sweet as could be but not many brain cells firing. LOL! We lost her to liver failure two years ago, a common ailment in old cats.
I got a few pix but would have to find them. They’re on a CD.
Come to think of it, Hobby Lobby has it and I don’t remember sneezing. I guess that’s a good thing. I don’t like it to be that strong however.
Guess I’d better get to sleep. Last night was a short one. I have to be ready for my “busy” retired-Monday tomorrow. Don’t want to push it. *snork*
See ya tomorrow!
Yes, Hobby Lobby has it and I try to stay away from that section of the store. I still snort and snuffle by the time I leave but I deal with it. They have some cool stuff.
Hope your day isn’t too busy tomorrow. LOL! Get a good night’s sleep so you can be refreshed and enjoy whatever comes your way.
A very pleasant good Monday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks, Star for this morning’s thread.
Does he love the attention and brushing? Those sticky seed thingys are a royal pain!
Good night and sleep tight, Luv.
He does indeed love the attention and brushing. He hates trying to lick his fur and those seeds poke his tongue.
Whoever had him before apparently gave him a lot of love because he’s a very sweet, loving cat. No telling why they threw him away like trash. He’s happy to have a loving home now. I get up and step outside to give him some attention several times throughout the night since he isn’t comfortable in the house yet. Too many other cats and it intimidates him. He spends the night in his bed on the table just outside the back door and I hope he continues doing that. MUCH safer than wandering and chancing a run-in with coyotes.
