President Trumps first foreign trip has brought a big benefit to his daughter's pet project.
As Trump traveled the Middle East, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates pledged $100 million to a fund for women entrepreneurs proposed by Ivanka Trump, according to a report.
The Wall Street Journal reported Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E. would donate to the Women Entrepreneurs Fund, a program Ivanka Trump pitched to World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim and has discussed with several world leaders.
The funds money will be controlled by World Bank, not Ivanka, but she continues fundraising for it even while serving as an adviser to her father and traveling with him to meet foreign diplomats.
Ivanka Trump met with female Saudi business and government leaders over the weekend for what was billed as a talk about womens economic empowerment.

World bank = socialist...communist...terrorists.
*GASP*
This is as bad as when Hillary! took cash & baubles from the Middle East Full-Frontal Radical Islamists...and no one batted an eye.
*SMIRK*
Not crazy about Ivanka being in the admin., but on this I think it’s fine, and it seems like she might be helping these poor women to crack the glass BURKA!!
“The funds money will be controlled by World Bank, not Ivanka”
And that is the massive difference between this and Hitlary. However, the World Bank is an evil institution - so this is still a FAIL.
That money was supposed to go to the Clinton foundation. How dare she steal it from the Clinton’s?!! (Just hoping to get a commentator gig at CNN.)
bwaaaha!
“This is not a battle between different faiths, different sects, or different civilizations.
This is a battle between barbaric criminals who seek to obliterate human life, and decent people of all religions who seek to protect it.”
See. Nothing to do with Islam.
Should have said “Clintons”, not “Clinton’s”. (In my defense, it’s hard to avoid the possessive, when discussing the Clintons — e.g. “it was Clinton’s election to lose”.)
As long as the World Bank project administrator doesn’t rip off the women like Zero’s momma did
DJT needs to be proactive in some of these situations rather than reactive after it's blown up in his face.
What??? She took their money without demanding that they be granted driver’s licenses and demanded to give up all their traditions and customs? THE HORROR
From WSJ
The World Bank plans to announce Sunday at an event with Ivanka Trump, the U.S. presidents daughter and senior White House adviser, that Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates have pledged $100 million collectively toward a fund for women who own or want to start businesses, according to people familiar with the announcement.
The money for the banks proposed Women Entrepreneurs Fund would be aimed at women in the Middle East, these people said. They described the funds goal as helping women start and run successful businesses by easing their access to finance, markets and networks.
This facility has clear alignment with our broader work to advance womens economic empowerment, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim said in a statement thanking Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E. and Ms. Trump. We look forward to launching the facility later this year.

Maybe you didn’t.
Of course I did. You must not ‘get’ me.
Do you not know what my patented “*SMIRK*” means? It’s included in most every one of my posts. ;)
It’s hard to know, the, what you’re saying.
My impression is you are fine with this.
“That money was supposed to go to the Clinton foundation.”
No joke. The Saudis bribe everybody, and have to budget for it long term. They have been having to pay baksheesh to the Clintons for a long time. I have no doubt that they had budgeted for it.
Nope. Just comparing and contrasting.
I want Ivanka and Jared OUT of my White House.
