Report: China cripples CIA operations, kills informants

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Chinese government "systematically dismantled" CIA spying operations in China starting in late 2010 and killed or imprisoned at least a dozen CIA sources over the next two years, The New York Times reported Saturday.

The newspaper cited 10 current and former U.S. officials, who described the intelligence breach as one of the worst in decades. They spoke on condition of anonymity.

The report said U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies scrambled to stem the damage, but were bitterly divided over the cause of the breach. Some investigators were convinced there was a mole within the CIA, while others believed the Chinese had hacked the covert system the CIA used to communicate with its foreign sources. The debate remains unresolved, the paper said.

I’m sure the moles are still there. Trump will have to downsize the agency by giving them jobs in non-essential departments while sorting this out.

Note to CIA: Check the clintons' and 0bama's off-shore accounts, and then take appropriate action.

Do we really need a CIA? We won’t know. Bot privy to the info. The intelligence committees should decide that.

Maybe the CIA should have been busy protecting our assets rather than going after Trump?

Thank you Obama, Hillary Clinton, and that Muslim infiltrator
who was heading the CIA at the time.
The Democrat Party in Congress also deserves an honorable mention.

The “mole” was the unusually lax security procedures followed by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose unauthorized home server was hacked early and often by the Chicoms, among others. Add to that a failure by Huma Abedin to properly safeguard her portable laptop while in China, a lapse which may have provided a good many clues to the Chicoms as to where to look for possible networks, and the distinct possibility that these “lapses” were in exchange for some personal gain.

The murder of our CIA assets started after Hillary became SoS and set up her home brew server.

Anyone connect those dots yet?

I would bet money that none of these were lapses. My guess is that when laundered chinese money was deposited at the Clinton foundation that a desired bit of classified info then appeared on one or more of the Clinton devices.

Everything they ever did had a money angle to it.

As you said, this happened on Obama’s watch. What damage did Obama do? He gets policemen killed and destroys the CIA.
