Two of their present/previous Communications Director/spokesmen (titles are unclear), were open members of the Communist Party USA, Carl Bloice (who later defected, supposedly, to the CP-split off faction known as the Committees of Correspondence, and Chuck Idelson, also a longtime reporter, like Bloice, for the CP’s newspaper (various names, Daily World, Peoples Daily World, Peoples Weekly World).
