SHOCKING! Democrats Argue Their RIGHT to Keep Rigging Elections!
YouTube ^ | May 19, 2017 | Stefan Molyneux / Jared Beck

Posted on 05/19/2017 11:52:54 PM PDT by Arthur McGowan

Documents recently emerged showing that the Democratic National Committee opposed Bernie Sanders and actively worked against his campaign. Jared Beck joins Stefan Molyneux to discuss the class action lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz for supporting Hillary Clinton’s campaign instead of remaining neutral.

Jared Beck is a practicing lawyer with Beck & Lee Trial Lawyers and also founded the progressive grassroots Super PAC JamPAC. Beck is one of the attorneys involved in a class action lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee.

The Republican Party Establishment actively worked against Trump.

Here on FR we had Freepers who were local party officials arguing that the party insiders should be the ones to nominate the candidate, and ignore the primary voters.

That is because they, like the socialist democrats, are all uniparty.

The workings of the DNC are not laws. They are rules regarding their operation. I’m sure, regardless of how insane these people are, there is little legal recourse.

If you followed the arguments of Al Gore’s legal team closely in November-December 2000, you could have predicted (and I did in fact predict) exactly where we would wind up, and that’s where we are today.

David Boies made the following argument, derived from the ideology of the French Revolution and refined by Lenin: A voter’s right to choose is valid only insofar as the vote, as executed, is the vote predicted by the voter’s demographic (i.e., class) interests. Since many Florida 2000 voters executed votes for, for example, Pat Buchanan or Ralph Nader, when their demographic (class) interests predicted a vote for Gore, then simple arithmetical counting of votes was an invalid method for determining the winner.

I commented extensively here on this argument, while most people were wrapped up in the more practical court arguments. But this argument has since been further developed by the Democrats, notably by Thomas Frank’s 2004 book, “What’s the matter with Kansas?”, which basically restates Lenin’s small book “What is to Be Done?” from 1904.

The Democratic Party lost track of this thread briefly in 2008 and 2012, since they regarded Barack Obama’s twin elections as validation of their hypothesis that if the votes were counted correctly (i.e., in alignment with “voter intent”, a/k/a “class interest”) then they could never lose.

Hence the enormous shock of 2016, when the Iron Laws of History™ so beloved of Marxists fell apart. 53% of white women voted for Trump!

This led the Democrats and their fellow-traveling Republicans to two conclusions - 1) Trump was illegitimate and had to be gotten rid of; and 2) The war to delegitimize White influence in politics and the government had to be accelerated.

These twin conclusions will drive our politics for the next twenty years, unless the leaders of this seditious conspiracy are unmasked and crushed. And they are not by any means all Democrats. Mitt Romney’s running mate is in this up to his neck, watch for a betrayal before July 4.

IIRC Dick Morris related a story in which Hillary in one of her emotionally rants called someone a “f**king J*w B*st*rd”.

Awwwww, c’mon now.

Republicans wouldn’t do that.

They’re the good guys.

And after all, if it wasn’t for Republicans like McCain, Graham, McConnel, Ryan, Snow, etc, there’d be nothing but Democrats running the country.

Political parties today are like professional sports teams. When you support one, you’re only supporting laundry.

Thanks for your kind words.

The only thing I should have written differently was that "then simple arithmetical counting of votes was an invalid method for determining the winner" should have said, "then simple arithmetical counting of votes was an invalid method for determining legitimacy".

I've used that concept, about the Democrats and their Republican friends, before - the key issue for them isn't "who is the winner?", but rather, "is the winner legitimate, i.e., should the winner be left in peace to serve his term and to fulfill the duties of his office, or not?"

The working out of this idea, novel in 2000, has brought us to a situation where the Left's opposition can't ever win, even when they win.

Many people here see this as hypocrisy, or a scam - that is, the Left knows that the winner (Trump, at the moment) is legitimate, but they deny it for some sort of advantage.

It's more complicated than that.

The Left has infected itself with the mind virus of Marxism-Leninism. Lenin's fundamental contribution to the century of bloodbaths was to articulate the concept of false consciousness, literally meaning, what the voters do is meaningless because they don't know what they are doing.

Every elected Democrat, and many elected Republicans, believe this deeply. As long as they do, and as long as a little less than half of the Americans oppose them, there cannot be peace.

Right. The immediate undermining of the election result - which started the night of - was that the election was tainted, that Russians had co-opted our democracy, and trump was not our legitimate president.

This wasn’t the ranting of some far left kooks or hardcore die hards; it was the party line coming from the DNC and Podesta. The election had ‘been hacked.’

Completely irresponsible creating such potential chaos, but it has continued non stop. To the Left there is only power and nothing else. However it is acquired doesn’t matter. Elections, manipulation, the end of a gun are all equally legitimate means.

Now, as you said, half the country is wanting to impeach Trump. It could have been Russia or they could have found another reason. Only matters that he must go.

Leftists create ‘The Narrative.’ The Narrative is their party line spin. Remember, to the Left there’s no “Truth” - capital T - there’s only a multiplicity of viewpoints and realities and the dominate (white male privileged class) oppresses minorities and women by forcing ‘Truth’ upon them. There’s no true or false; only spin. That’s the essence of deconstructionism (Derida, et al) and from Marxism.

Only stories that fit The Narrative are reported. Stories about poor dads getting kicked out of the country because they don’t have their ‘papers’ in order = news. Illegal alien with his eighth DWI killing a teenager on her way to school = not news. Or “local news only.” Local news is only for items that don’t fit the narrative.

The MSM has entered into complete PRAVDA territory with Trump. The Washington Post or New York Times reports a story based on ‘sources’ or secret memos. That’s enough to create a story. Then that story is reported on by the other media who reference back to WaPo or NYT, as if they’re a news source. No verification, no actual reporting. Then our side is asked to prove a negative - prove that something didn’t happen.

Thanks again for your comments in this thread. Great points!
