Terrorism has a political motivation. This act appears to have no political motivation.

Terrorism is an unfortunate term for the warfare engaged in by the Moslem umma. Terrorism as a definition of that Moslem warfare then should not be attached to other acts. Motivation usually is not to inspire terror. It is to do damage and kill people. The perp doesn’t care whether or not his acts inspire terror. In this case, as being unrepresentative of an ideology that wishes to exterminate or convert all nonadherents in the world, the term Terrorism is not useful. Then, again, we really don’t know if he is a Moslem convert or not. If he is I suspect we will find out.
