Anthony Weiner is expected to plead guilty Friday to charges he sexted with a minor last year, according to a report. The scandal-scarred former congressman will cop to a single charge of transferring obscene material to a minor as part of a plea agreement with the US Attorney’s Office in Manhattan, The New York Times reported. Feds have been investigating claims that Weiner, then 51, sent a 15-year-old North Carolina girl inappropriate messages starting in January 2016. The charge carries a potential sentence of 0 to 10 years in prison. A likely result of his plea is that Weiner will end up a registered sex offender, The Times reported.

If he’s made a plea deal it probably is to avoid jail time.
If he struck a deal I want to know what the original charge was.
Worse I suspect.
I also bet no jail time, 5 years probation, register as a Level 1 Sex Offender...he’ll be weinerbating again all over Snapchat with teenaged girls by Christmas...scumbag
and look for the hearing to be around 5PM on Friday just late enough to miss the evening news and most of the weekend coverage. Just works out that way don’t you know.
