Personally, I love the site more knowing it is a small business, completely independent, run by real people.
And all ability to control it. IF someone decides that FR is unacceptable it can all go away

The cloud works great until it doesn’t. Doesn’t bother me for him to have his own server, but perhaps some additional redundancy.
There is mention of FR creating it’s own cloud.
I don’t use the cloud, because everything is mirrored there if you do.
And there are evil “cloud” demons that would love to access personal info on everyone, starting with the Deep State gov.
I’m still not sure exactly what the “cloud” is, but it must be physical servers somewhere I guess.
