It is simply that Donald Trump is up in the morning before many of his staff arise, and is going strong eighteen hours later, when most of them have retired for the night.
President Trump really should have two shifts of staff, just to keep up.

Actually Cernovich, Stone and Jones, who all have great sources, have been reporting for days on a likely, broad shakeup to include Spicer and Priebus, among others.
It’s pure speculation based on anonymous sources.
These kinds of rumors have been circulating in the media since the first Trump appointment.
These kinds of rumors of problems within the inner circle and with advisers, etc., will persist through the Trump presidency. That is what the media does; that is who they are.
As for the ‘White House sources’, I would not be at all surprised to learn that they are reporters in the Press tent on the White House campus.

There must be a long list that the media uses to attribute stories to unknown and unidentified people. A “source generator” if you will. Just pick and choose one for this week’s article (e.g., “highly placed source” or “someone close to the president”) from the list and, magically, there’s an instant excuse for another fake article. Its so obviously fabricated that its reached comical proportions.

I’m afraid that most do not follow the day-by-day developments in the various Departments. Sessions and Wilbur Ross, inter alia, are working nearly as hard as their boss. And to good effect. DeVos and Chao get little ink because Democrats will never let a Republican woman succeed. One should know by now that the crocodiles that occupy the swamp are the press. When Trump says ‘drain the swamp’, it is up to us to help him out.
I'd love to see a generation of dry, nerdly, almost boring "Joe Friday" types in the media where they report and we decide. Ya, I know, I am asking too much with generations of press mavens really being trained via Colleges to be team players/social activist in disguise.
