LYNCHBURG, Va. After one of the most tumultuous weeks of his presidency, President Trump traveled to Liberty University on Saturday morning to deliver a subdued pep talk.
For once, it was not a campaign speech although he did marvel the large crowd and bragged about his success with evangelical voters. Instead, the president explained to graduates of the Evangelical Christian School how to stay tough when no one agrees with you, when everyone is criticizing you, when you feel like running home to your mother.
Nothing worth doing ever, ever, ever came easy, the president said. Following your convictions means you must be willing to face criticism from those who lack the same courage to do what is right and they know what is right but they dont have the courage or the guts or the stamina to take it and to do it. Its called the road less traveled.
The advice, at times, seemed deeply personal. The presidents judgment was questioned this past week by not only his longtime critics but also supporters in his own party who were alarmed by his firing of FBI Director James B. Comey.

They cannot write even a paragraph without at least one snotty comment.
Critics are inferior, so they spend their lives trying to pull down the achievements of better men.
Since the WP headline is misleading, here’s the President’s actual quote:
.@POTUS: “Nothing is easier or more pathetic than being a critic because they’re people that can’t get the job done.”
Who does the WaPo despise more, Trump or Liberty U?
Outsiders often are critics. Actually the dominant culture will try to ignore you before they criticize you.
BS. I listened to the whole speech and it was wonderful!
Yes.
Yeah but it’s getting better. The smarter ones are beginning to figure out the were burying their own futures.
I clicked on this thread after reading the first paragraph to say virtually the same thing. It's pathetic!
Actually, both the Media and the Democrat party are failing and self-destructing. The mere fact, that POTUS, Donald J. Trump addressed a huge, massive, crowd of 50,000-60,000 cheering, supporting, people during his commencement speech at Liberty University, tells the whole story.
I can assure you....no matter what the media & the Democrat Party say, the upcoming Mid-Term elections of 2018, will deliver devastating political losses for the entire Democrat Party. I was right on in 2016...and I am right on this prediction. Forget the media, the pundits, the pollsters...they have nary a clue as to the real world scenario!!! They were 100% wrong last year and, they are 100% % wrong today!!!
The upcoming special elections in Georgia & Montana will both be won by Republicans...easily!!! And, bringing in illegal voters as is done by the cheating Democrat Party will be severely reduced in 2018!!!
I hope you’re right
The media is 24/7 anti-President Trump. They have continuous lies, distortions and ommissions. How pathetic. What weasels.

Exactly right, the media cannot find one person who voted for Trump or anyone who does not despise him. Same exact thing they said about Reagan.
Just curious, where is Mitch McConnell and where is Paul Ryan? What have they done for their country, lately?
